To think you're beautiful is your right

Sexual objectification is a tool of patriarchy to impress its dominance over women. The relationship of power is unequal and predominantly patriarchal. Girls are put on display in beauty competitions to get approval from boys whether they are acceptable, desirable or rather appealing. Many girls resign themselves to the mental construct of men about beauty and sexiness. The media only eulogizes such construct and thus create fictitious, almost unachievable levels of beauty. In pursuit of achieving such levels in beauty, girls go on strict diet, take recourse to cosmetics, and several such methods to become what a few women look like.

Don't throw yourself at the judgement of others. It's your inherent right to perceive yourself as beautiful, invariably.
